Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Winery: Bodegas Perez
Aging: 12 Months
Alcohol: 14%

DESCRIPTION

This wine is extremely fruit forward, conceivably due to
the young age. The nose is bursting with boysenberries,
blackberries and cherries. Some secondary aromas exist
and include fresh ground pepper and red roses. This wine
is very interesting and I’d like to see how it develops over
the next few years. Still young and very powerful, I would
pair with steak or grilled sausages.

 RESERVA CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2014

DON TONY PEREZ

PAIRINGS:

This Cabernet Pairs well with a wide variety of foods without overpowering them; try braised short-ribs, stuffed peppers, pork tenderloin, and even dark chocolate.

GRAPEVINES

CABERNET  SAUVIGNON 2014

Cabernet Sauvignon wines are produced from these types of grapes – on the vine they’re red, small, and hard. The wines have a tendency to flavor just like blackberries as well as cedar. Bordeaux utilizes the Cabernet Sauvignon grape, typically combined in with Merlot. These kinds of grapes can also be cultivated broadly in California as well as Australia. The grape includes a large amount of tannin, which results in a great red wine whenever effectively older.

Pairing:

  • – Braised lamb or venison
  • – Filet mignon
  • – Foie Gras
  • – Lentils
  • – Asian-style beef
  • – Risotto
  • – Pasta dishes (especially with cream sauces)
  • – Steak
  • – Short ribs
  • – Aromatic, aged full-flavored cheeses such as Roquefort, Blue, Camembert and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
